Approached by many, asking where they can buy affordable high quality art, Joy and Cara realised that there was an opportunity to connect emerging South African talent to first time collectors. Art can often feel intimidating for first-time buyers who may lack knowledge of the market, where to purchase art, and where to purchase work that is affordable. This is precisely the challenge that The Art Department seeks to address.
